Founded by Moody Shwales, a British Army veteran, former stunt performer, and NYU Tisch-trained producer, Neon Aloha brings a rare combination of battlefield discipline and hands-on production instinct to every project it takes on.
Over fifteen years and more than twenty-five productions, Moody has managed budgets reaching three million dollars, crews of roughly one hundred and fifty, and coordination spanning hundreds of locations and dozens of departments simultaneously. Work he has produced has reached audiences through Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, NBC Peacock, and National Geographic.
From concept to final cut, we fuse discipline and imagination to deliver striking visuals, authentic emotion, and productions that run on time and on budget. With budgets starting at $1 million, our films are built to deliver impact. We work across diverse genres, combining creative vision with production efficiency to maximize value on screen. Our network includes top-tier department heads, union crews, and specialty vendors across Canada and the United-States. We hire based on project scope, working with experienced professionals who meet both the creative vision and operational requirements of each shoot. All crew onboarding, rate negotiation, and union coordination are handled in-house.

From securing permits and municipal permissions to managing E&O, production, and general liability insurance, we ensure your project remains legally protected and in compliance with all municipal, provincial, and federal regulations. We handle union signatory processes (e.g., SAG, ACTRA, IATSE, DGC, IASTE, and NABET) and maintain rigorous documentation throughout.

We oversee post workflows from editorial through final mastering, managing timelines, approvals, and delivery assets across departments. Our producers ensure all technical specifications, metadata, and legal deliverables are met for broadcasters, streamers, and distributors—including DCPs, ProRes files, M&E tracks, and QC standards.

For casting, we exclusively collaborate with members of the Casting Directors Society of Canada (CDC) and the Casting Society of America (CSA) to ensure professional handling of talent, union compliance, and accurate casting that serves both the narrative and production objectives.
